  • Man horrible goodwill! It was interested to read that someone was being followed by workers as if trying to bust them. This is how i felt my first and last time EVER i was here. This is that place where you definitely know the workers like to keep the good things for themselves(more on that later). Yea the store is big(pretty dark by the way) but you wont find much quality items as you would expect for a bigger store. I like to go to goodwill to find interesting pieces, furniture never bought clothes, but the people waiting for a fitting room had to wait a long time to get someone to open the doors for them. The workers just ignored them. Anyways fast forward to the time i was paying: it was a hassle and negative experience. The rude worker Maria(with this thick accent more european than hispanic) questioned everything i was trying to buy, Maria: "this is not the price on the lamp just the shade" me: but theres only one price tag and its one piece its not like i got two different pieces Maria: "well thats not the price, i know it" Me: "how do you know" Maria: "i just know" ... I didn't take it because she jacked up the price to $10. Im sure she thought it was a nice lamp and she wanted it for herself. ....the next was this really nice antique side table. She scanned it and put it on the cart and then she asked herself "thats not right" and then asked the manager "does that price sound right" Manager answered her "yes i think so" Seriously!!! This lady really got me mad. I wanted to tell her something but i kept my cool. Why would they put a price tag and then question the price its not my fault. Maybe she also wanted the table. Yes i repurposed the side table with new paint and hardware and now its on my office and I'm super happy with it. But this Maria lady was just awful, and i still donated to this store. Never will i ever be back here.
