| - After taking a break from haircuts in order to grow it out to donate, I went in back in January to get eight inches cut and also took my daughter for a trim. We've both had bad experiences at local salons and are a bit nervous about going to someone new, but we walked out as a woman always should from a salon: happy and feeling great about our new looks!
Lilly was my stylist, and from the moment she introduced herself she made me feel at ease. She took the time to talk to me and find out what I wanted, since, let's face it, hair to the waist is not really a style, and we were sort of starting from scratch. She ended up cutting over ten inches, did exactly what I was hoping for and was as sweet as could be about the process.
Wanting to keep up my new style I went back in to see Lilly a few days ago and I couldn't be happier with the results. Not only did I get an amazing summer cut, but, without even needed a ruler she was able to tell me exactly where the 8 inch mark would be, and I was able to donate my hair once again! She talked to me the whole time, making sure I was ok with what she was doing and being sure I'd be happy with the results, which I was. She even told me what product to use (without being pushy about me buying it from them) and showed me how to style my new 'do. I walked out of there feeling ten years younger and thrilled at being able to give back by donating my hair once again.
I can't remember the name of the girl who did my daughter's hair, but she did such a good job that my girl went back to her for highlights when she was home for spring break and was thrilled with the results.
AZ Hair Co. Ahwatukee has definitely got two new customers who will recommend them to anyone who asks!
