  • I took a beginner brewing class this weekend. The instructor was great. He knew what he was talking about, clearly explained the science behind the brewing process, shared his insights based on years of experience, and took the intimidation out of starting to brew at home. We did all the initial stuff in the brewing process using a kit that contains everything needed for about two cases of beer and learned how use the equipment while having a few brews. I highly recommend Brew & Grow's beginner class for anyone looking to get into home brewing. The class was small -- only four of us, so plenty of chances to ask questions, which were encouraged.
