  • I had heard about Herbal Nails from a friend. She had recommended SNS nails system and said it helped her nails to become stronger after years of gel nails. So when I walked into the salon I asked for that system. The two tecs that were there said I would not like it and they didn't have it in stock anyway. Ok, so I asked for a gel manicure. I had a very difficult time understanding what the man was saying, so I asked many questions and made clear what I wanted. As he proceeded, he removed the previous gel polish with the power file. I asked him to stop because I could feel it burning. Once removed, he immediately started with clear gel very thick. I explained to him that I did not want it thick he told me not to worry, he was going to buff it down. All the while I'm wondering when he is going to take car of my cuticles. Never did! Long story short, I basically got a thick gel polish change. That's it for $50! When I asked why the price, he replied that first time is $50, then next time I come in it will be $35. I left angry, ripped off, and messed up cuticles, never to be back.
