  • This event is getting some mixed reviews! let me add mine it was great! i suggest going in the evening, when all the lights are on. i happened to go on a blistering cold night, which made my moments warming up near the fire even more enjoyable. there was live, beautiful singing. the decorations were amazing. the hustle and bustle was energetic. ill agree this is not where i would go to do all my christmas shopping. but its fun to look around. i bought...a lil wooden owl, some loose leaf tea, chocolates. the prices were variable (please dont let the $50 home-made toque scare you away, there is affordable stuff being sold as well!). overall, great experience. i went hoping for a festival, holiday market, and this is what i got. if you are someone who enjoys going to st. lawrence market (or might i suggest venturing out of the city in the summer to st. jacobs market near kitchener, its terrific!) you will love this event
