  • My rating is 4.5 stars. My friend and I picked up our other friend from Charlotte International Airport. We were all ready for dinner. We did a Yelp search and this restaurant popped up. We wanted authentic Mexican food and this place was it. I parked in front of the main doors. We walked in and immediately got a booth. We hadn't seen one another in years. We started chatting up a storm. We got nacho chips or salsa and this spicy green sauce that was amazing! Our server came back with our drinks. I had ordered a Diet Coke. I went ahead and ordered the beef burrito, chicken enchilada, and pork tanale meal. It came with rice and beans. My meal was incredible. The food was flavourful. There was a lot of it. I got encouragement from one of my friends to polish everything. I don't have tamales often. I'm glad I got one! I also have a weakness for refried beans. So yummy! I'd highly recommend coming here. The only minor detail preventing a perfect rating was service. We had asked for the bill and it took fifteen minutes to get it. The restaurant wasn't busy. It was minor for us, as we had plenty to talk about. However, if you are in a rush, you may want to go up to the don't and get someone's attention. (129)
