Nobu feels Japanese. Of course it does. lots of wood paneling. Heavy on form and less on function. Don't expect your business desk and seating area but do expect elongated couch coupled by a low table. Your hand glove for washing your face and body, and a huge spa like bathroom for your maximum cleaning needs. No indoor coffee but the second floor does offer a lounge area for coffee and tea. It's also where the gym is located. Not a huge gym but has all the essentials so it's worth checking it out during work and meetings.
The bed is very comfortable. The lighting is very soothing. The balcony, though not really for use, is aesthetically pleasing.
The room feels meditation ready. I find the decor reminded me of Japan.
Room size is quite spacious. It has a Japanese modern feel to it. Obviously it made me miss Japan a little bit.
It is a small chain. Like the Kimptons.
I had such pleasant evenings in this hotel. I think I'd return.
