Me and my girlfriend enrolled at PF Chandler in August. During the enrollment process, the associate Marke had problems entering my girlfriends routing number. He said there was too many digits so he would just leave off one of the front zeros. We did ensure this was her actual routing number. Marke stated that there could be an additional 10 dollar services charge if for whatever reasons the funds could not be drawn from the account when they were due.
However... Marke said not to worry, because if a problem arose their staff would sort it out and we wouldn't be billed the additional ten dollars. Well you can guess what happens... payment time arrives, withdrawal is unsuccessful, so we go in to sort it out and we're told we are stuck with the 10 dollar fee, despite explaining what Marke said to us on our first day.
Spoke with the manager, big guy with tatted up arms, didn't greet us- just walks up and asks what the problem is. We tell him what's going on and ultimately he says we're stuck with the additional 10 dollar fee or maybe our bank could pick it up.
We ended up cancelling our memberships. What's sad is that in the end they only charged my girlfriend 10 bucks. Why couldn't they have just done that from the beginning and let us get on with our workout?
