| - WHaaaaaaaaTTTT!!!
You take a doughnut, cut it in half, take 2 scoops of ice cream, add toppings, put in the doughnut, pop it in the microwave and VWAAAAALAAAH!! Diabetes to go! (Creamy Bun)
This is only one of many of their specials here at Yuki. Located in the Albertsons shopping center on Durango and Farm, next to Pink Nails, SuperCuts, and a lingerie store. Yup, come get your nails did, hair did, and get your sugar on in a hot red thong. haha.
What ordered:
Mango shaved snow with condense milk and taro
Circus Animal cookie ice cream with condense milk
Honey Dew shaved snow and condense milk
Rocky Road ice cream with almond
Oh and they have a Thriftys inside too. It's dangerous, having one practically next door to the house, "Get in my BELLY!!" If it wasn't for my lil nephew Donnie, having a sugar craving on his 10th birthday, I may not have payed this place a visit. Thanks D!
Family owned and only one in existence. Been at the location since 2013. This is not your regular ice, then add flavor ice dessert. They call it shaved snow in fact, and the outgoing cashier that helped us out, let us try before we buy. Some of their flavors are lychee, taro, mango, honey dew, passion fruit, cocoa, strawberry and even FROZEN COTTON CANDY, a favorite of my lil nephew Donny. What you get is a almost yogurt like dessert. You also have choices of toppings ranging from almonds, fresh mango, and strawberries to mango drizzle, chocolate syrup, and condense milk (liquid diabetes). Enough choices to make that sweet tooth scream "UNCLE!" Ok, maybe not that extreme.
Customer service was a treat in itself. Friendly and inviting. Informative and knowledgeable.
Oh, and they have a stand alone pc thingy there that you can use to sign up for newsletters or take pictures and either post on Facebook or even email it to yourself.
Clean and family friendly environment with a cute penguin logo completes this neighborhood frozen factory. Definitely one of my go to spots to tame my sugar gremlin. The heat is around the corner, you should go too.
