Definitely a must see when in Las Vegas.
"Downtown" Vegas is where more of the locals go.
The price is right when it comes to dining and playing.
The Fremont Street Experience is sort of like a version of Times Square but is not as annoying and is not overrun with tourists.
You have some characters for sure and if you venture a few blocks out within this closed pedestrian area then you're looking for trouble. The outskirts are sketchy and dangerous. Even if you're from NYC you should know better.
Definitely check it out and when the sun goes down the metal canopy becomes a "live show" with music and lights. And it's all free!
