| - We went to yesterday's Sunday Champagne Brunch. Outstanding!! $49 per person seems steep until you experience it and realize that it is well worth it.
There is a cook to order omelet chef ready to tempt you with an assortment ranging from vegetables, ham, cheese, etc (bay shrimp was not represented).
There was another chef at a prime rib & lamb carving station. Tip: The shrimp & crableg offering is behind him. I missed it until my refill trip.
There are separate tables for fruits, salads, pastas, deserts, etc.
They epitomize the term "bottomless" mimosas. Our servers, Casey & Prince, were always available to refill once you hit the glass is half empty stage. The champagne and orange juice are poured separately so you see your portions.
When you return from your refill trip at the food tables, the servers have refolded or replaced your napkin.
The views of the Valley are outstanding. We sat in the west wing area. There are an ample number of windows so that just about any table will offer great views. However, our table for two was right at the window. Great!!
Tip: The west wing dining room has far superior views compared to the north dining room.
Each Sunday Champagne brunch has a jazz sax player and a piano player.
Check out the library which has the original books provided by William Wrigley when he built the huge mansion.
We did not have time for a tour but plan to return to enjoy it.
Wrigley did more than just sell gum and build Wrigley Stadium in Chicago!!!
