  • A tiny little shop in a typical "Chinese" strip mall in typical Richmond Hill / Markham "Hwy 7 territory"......but they do NOT serve typical HK/Asian style baked goods, they are FAR better. The owner / chef studied her craft in Paris. She makes French style cakes and cookies including macaroons. I got a what I call "the chocolate dome cake" - dark moist chocolate cake layered with raspberry puree and marscarpone creamed coffee mouse, all covered in a thin layer of the shiniest and most perfect chocolate ganache, and cute little meringue wheels on the side to finish off the decoration --- soooo sinfully rich and incredibly light tasting at the same time, one could be easily be "tricked" into having the whole cake.
