After scouring the North Scottsdale area are 8:30 on a Sunday night we stumbled upon this place. It looked mildly promising and there were people inside so we decided to pull in. It was right between Chili's and Bamboo club and we figured it had to be good. Let me say that I am no BBQ expert, but I love eating it. It is a tough food to pull of since everyone has different opinions on what it should be. The inside is decorated well, and the people working there friendly. I went with the BBQ pulled pork with mac and cheese and sweet potato fries. While we were waiting I decided to look up on my phone some of the yelp reviews so I had all ready had my expectations on the food.
When the food came it was presented well on a big tray and everything looked good. The sweet potato fries were awesome. Definitely hit the mark. The mac and cheese was good. It was a little cold but has good taste. I have had better but also worse. Now the pulled pork, they gave a big portion. Enough that I had to eat some with a fork before being able to eat it as a sandwich. The meat was good. Not a ton of flavor except for the BBQ sauce.
Overall a decent experience, I will go back and try other things. The only thing missing was cornbread. Not on the menu, not sure why not.
