  • Katy and her husband, Scott were more than AMAZING!!!! I completely ruined my hair with a relaxer that is used for African American hair, which my hair was not. My hair was complete mush and melted together. I would have been a perfect Troll Doll. IT WAS AWFUL!!!! Had anyone touched my hair, I would have ended up with a males haircut. Which for some people that's OK, but for me it was pure and complete devastation. I found AZ Strands amazing reviews online and quickly called on a Friday afternoon (the day BEFORE my 37th birthday). I called in tears and Scott answered the phone. I told him what I did and he said that Katy was booked all the next day. (Which was Saturday). I was OK with that given Katy's online reputation, but to my amazement Scott placed me on hold and magically found me an appointment the next day at 9:30 am. I arrived at 9:30 the next day and 3 hours later....Katy made me more beautiful than I EVER have felt before. She didn't make me feel like the idiot I felt for ruining my hair. She matched my hair color perfectly to my original hair color and was honest and kind to me about what I should expect. Katy's price was better than I expected. I really didn't have the money for extensions but felt as a woman I could not feel good about myself with a male's haircut or a wig. Every penny that I spent was more than worth it. Katy made my hair look ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! I TOTALLY went out on my birthday, (which I cancelled the day before). Do not go anywhere else you will be sorry. It takes time and effort to log on and write a review. I sooooo would not do this if I didn't completely believe in Katy and AZ Strands. She is a true artist. I believe God put me in her chair at 9:30 am on March 9th. My life has not been so great for a long while and I really honestly feel like a different, beautiful woman again. Maybe this is the what I needed to get my life going again. Katy didn't ask for this review. I have NEVER in my life have given a review to anyone before. I feel Katy and Scott more than deserved this and saved me from devastation. I truly believe this. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Katy. I can't wait to see you in 3 months. Jennifer aka.
