  • The kitchen was slow on cooking up the pasty that I ordered up. Besides the lag during the lunch run, the peppered steak pasty with mushrooms and leek, was a bit on the salty side, but very homely to eat. It was surely a filler and complimenting with a beer, which they have a variety to choose from. There were other pasties to try as well. Thanksgiving is coming up so I was on the edge to try turkey with stuffing pasty, but was thinking that I will have a feast of that in the coming month! One staff knew his pasties so he recommended well. They have 3 tea selections and it was refreshing for the warm day. It's a spacious pub and sort of looks antique. It suits the pub pasty experience. Lots of room for dining! Comfort spot!
