| - My friends and I stopped by here because we had been itching to get some beer fights. The beer flights were decent, which if a beer flight is not as good, I feel only you are to blame. I wish I was a bit better at picking sometimes. It was a little awkward thought because the price of the flights was never clear and it took a minute for the waitress to get us our flight cards, so we could indicate what we wanted. One of my friends decided to get a mead flight, which was exciting but as someone who never had mead before, it seemed expensive. It was $16 dollars for 4 small glasses of mead, even small by flight standards. With the beer flights, you also only got. They were larger sizes than other bars but I would have preferred more smaller glasses to be honest. Overall, the flight experience was decent. What I didn't like was my food. I ordered the nachos, which to be fair it did say that it had a chipotle emulsion. However, I asked the waitress first if it was at all spicy and she said no. When the nachos came, they were one of the hottest things I had eaten in awhile. I have a low tolerance of spice, but friend tried them and she thought they were quite spicy. I only made it through about 3 chips before my tongue was on fire and I could not take anymore. With that, the waitress did not come by for some time and I was unable to get more water or anything else to sooth my tongue. This ruined my flight for me a bit since the beer only made it worse and I could not really taste any more. She did ended up taking the nachos off my check, which was appreciated. Overall, it was a decent place but I was not super impressed.
