First of all the massage itself was 5 stars. Everything else is 2 stars and under.
I want to preface this review by saying that I've gotten many massages in my life from high end places like The Royal Palms and Sanctuary to the lower end of the spectrum like Massage Envy and Elements Massage.
- This place is very hard to find in the office complex. The sign on their door is literally a piece of paper.
- I finally got there ten minutes before my 10am massage and they were closed! They're supposed to open at 9am.
- The massage therapist showed up a few minutes before my appointment time and had to do everything herself (front office responsibilities, etc.).
- It was very cold out today and unfortunately because there was no staff around to warm the place up, it made for a very cold massage. Especially since she only had one thin sheet covering me. No blanket, as is customary, instead she used a small bath towel over the sheet. Huh??
- I purchased the massage via Groupon and was supposed to be given the option of either a Swedish massage or hot stone, or I could combine the two (according to the Groupon & their website). I wasn't given the option of either from the masseuse. Strange.
- About half way through the massage the music playing abruptly stopped for a minute, then started again and then went off only to come back on. Kind of takes you out of the moment.
- Lastly, after looking through their website regarding other services offered, I asked about the cupping therapy (the price, etc.) only to find out that they only offer it as an add on to some kind of service from the acupuncturist. Beyond that, the massage therapist/receptionist/whatever could not give me anymore information.
If you're just looking for a massage and literally nothing else come here I guess. But don't expect even the slightest niceties that come with the most basic of massages (like the therapist offering you water).
