| - My husband and I had the unfortunate experience of trying Mr. Lucky's again after a long time away... We heard things had improved, so we thought why not?
Here is why not:
I ordered the chicken fried steak and my husband got the breakfast skillet. After some time, I saw a plate of chicken fried steak on the counter under a hot lamp. After ten minutes more, I asked and was told by our waitress that is wasn't my meal. Well, after another five to seven minutes, my husband's dish was put next to it. Low and behold it was my order. The eggs I asked for 'over medium' were sunny side up and the yolks were hard (my husband's were the same). The steak itself was cold and the meat grey, the potatoes were cold and undercooked, and the sausage gravy had congealed on the top. The toast wasn't even browned and was simply dried out bread. Both meals were awful to look at and worse to eat.
We even had to ask for refills on our soda after sitting with empty glasses. Did I mention we were sitting at the counter where we could see everything and they could see our empty glasses?
This is not the Mr. Lucky's of the 'good old days'. We live in Vegas and are at the Hard Rock every weekend. This is not the first time we've had bad service and sub par food, however it is the last, despite the fact that our meal was comped.
Don't believe the hype; things have not changed since it started going seriously downhill over a year ago. Reduced menu options, staff with bad attitudes, awful food, long wait times, and no cohesive management...
