First off, the place is rather small and doesn't have an inside waiting area or bar to relax while waiting for a table. However, they gladly took our cell number and called us when the table was ready. That made it easy to head over to another fine local establishment nearby for a cold one while we waited. Overall the staff was extremely friendly and made us feel at home.
The atmosphere is great and the food is even better. I've been a few times now and tried a variety of dishes on the menu but my favorites are the crab fried rice and satay appetizer. It seems that the dishes are usually not as spicy as they suggest. Oddly enough though, at one point during my last meal there, it felt like we had been sprayed with pepper spray. It must have been something coming from the kitchen as we were sitting near the kitchen door. I'm glad I wasn't actually in the kitchen. The odd sensation went away quickly, so I won't drop it from the 5 star rating that this place deserves.
