| - First off, I know the name says "Good Night PEDIATRICS" but I thought that since I had only turned 18 a few months ago they would surely accept me. This was the only place open at around midnight within a good 10 miles of my house (or so I found), so I skipped over the negative reviews and thought to try it anyway. I had been missing classes the past few days due to an unknown illness. Everyone who looked in my throat clearly saw white pus pockets, and my throat was killing me to the point where I could barely talk, so we decided to call it strep. Not one car in the public parking lot, and not a soul in the waiting room other than the front desk clerk. I walk up, and the lady asks for my date of birth. Obviously she knew I was 18, but she continued to ask for my insurance and ID. She then told me that it was up to the doctor whether or not they examine 18 year olds. She got up to go ask the doctor, and was back within 15 seconds, shaking her head no. She gave no directions on where to find another urgent care nearby, she simply gave my ID's back. There was absolutely no reason that they couldn't take care of me, apart from the doctor's selfish wish. I hope their boss reads this. All I wanted was to be taken care of and to avoid a visit to my everyday doctor. Avoid at all costs.
