  • I was able to go to Mastro's for the first time ever and I'm glad my first experience was the tree house seating at the Las Vegas location with my best friend and spouse. We made reservations for our Best- Friendaversary :-) and we all were looking forward to going. Our expectations were all exceeded. I've never tasted flavors like those served at Mastro's. So, we ordered the smoked salmon appetizer for starters, blackened chilien seabass, a 12oz medium bone in filet, herb roasted chicken, garlic mash, creamed spinach and the Gorgonzola mac n cheese. OMG! Everything was delicious. We all ate off of each other's plates so we sort of had the whole surf and turf combo going since we all order different main dishes. Of course we couldn't without saving some room for the delicious warm butter cake which is like no other cake I've ever had. Served with best wishes to me and my best friend by Lionel. He was great and I won't forget him. He made my first dining experience at Mastro's very well worth it and I hope every time I go the environment and culture is the same. BtW the Lemon Drops we amazing!!!
