I'm always skeptical of car repair places. Of course I searched the web and consulted with Yelp, but still I was skeptical. I took my 1996 Mercedes into the shop and told Harry of all the items I wanted them to check but not to do any work until we discussed it. I was still skeptical. Harry cautioned me that the AC Compressor could be $1,000 - $1,200. I told him I wanted to keep the entire expense under $500 for everything. He said he'd call me after they did a thorough inspection. Harry called me and said that he thought the AC was not working because of a heater control valve and that it was low on Freon. It was a gamble because he could not tell for sure if the compressor was bad without charging the Freon. This is Vegas so I made a gamble. He charged the freon and replaced the heater control valve and now the car blows cold air like it was brand new! I'll go back for future repairs and maintenance for sure.
