| - After reading through the current reviews, I am shocked that this dermatologists office is not rated higher. I have had wonderful experiences with everyone at this office, and I haven't been this happy about the way my skin looks in a very, very long time.
For both of my appointments I have been reminded by both Text Message and phone call, so I don't understand why people complained about not getting an appointment reminder. Just a reminder (since you said you need them), as a grown up we are responsible for keeping track of ourselves and our obligations. No one is making you go to the dermatologist, you chose to. So, keep track of yourself and stop complaining that you didn't get your COURTESTY reminder. You probably didn't answer the phone, or ignored it. Shame on anyone for rating them lower because of something that is your own fault.
Same with being late. Map the location, and ASK the receptionist when you set up an appointment if they can give you directions to the office. Simple. Boo hoo, you're late because you weren't sure where to park, or couldn't find the office. Again, this is your fault, there is no reason to give this office a lower rating because you can't get it together. People like the no shows, late ones, etc. are the reason I have to wait around the office when I am on time or early. Because your appointment ran late and no one is as important as you. They should do more than charge you, they should terminate you as a client.
The woman I saw was helpful, listened, explored my concerns, and put together a regiment to clear up my skin. Dealing with the insurance to cover the prescriptions was difficult, so I was partnered up with a pharmacy that delivers to your home, with only a $35 co-pay (first delivery was free). Dr. Stockton's office gave me enough samples to keep me covered while I was waiting for the script to be delivered. I highly recommend anyone to this office!
