We ate here Monday June 7th. My wife had the lobster bisque which was good (A-)and the spinich salad, also good (B+). I had the bone in filet, which was very tender, I'd guess 14oz as advertised but really tasteless. After two bites and a conversation with our waiter, I was compelled to order a sauce to add some taste. It helped but I was charged the three bucks for the sauce -which I thought odd under the circumstances. Additionally this steak was $67.00! Now I try to never let the price of a meal affect my opinion but I must admit it may have this time. Steak gets a shaky C.
As a a side we had the chips and strings and they were OK but pale in comparison to The Palms version. (B-).
The hostess greeting was OK, if a bit lackluster but we found it odd that a couple who checked in right behind us without a reservation were seated ahead of us (we had reservations). Give her a C.
Our waiter was competent but offered little help in menu discussion, showed no personality and seemed to be doing little other than going through the motions. Another C.
Landry's and The Golden Nugget need much more from this place if they want to compete with the strip. Our meal at Andiamo (at the D) was far superior in every way.
