  • IF ANYONE IS LOOKING FOR CHRISTINE SHE IS AT QC CANINE DESIGN ON N. GRAHAM UPDATE: the owner Danielle promptly called me and was absolutely upset about my experience. She explained that there been changes in the dynamic's and communication in the salon and that she would remedy the situation immediately. I appreciate her reaching out to me ...as a business owner myself I would want to know. This used to be a lovely salon that had a wonderful energy and great experience for me and my two dogs. I hadn't been here in a while and I booked an appointment with Christine my normal dog groomer. No problem they said booked an appointment with Christine... I called on the way to clarify and to tell Christine I will be 10 minutes late. I was told that they would tell Christine that I would be 10 minutes late. I arrived and she basically started telling me some other girl is going to do my dog I'm like who is this girl? But okay this is supposedly Christine best friend then they told me Christine had retired which I knew didnt sound correct...They knew that Christine didn't work there yet they continued to lie to me in order to keep my business. Nonetheless I was pressed for time and I agree to allow another girl to groom a dog. I did notice that they seem to be busier than usual and seem to have changed management or owners or something I'm not sure what happened to this place. I go to pick up my dog and not only had they aggressively shaved him but his paws had dark brown stains on the bottom. I realized later it was blood. And that my dog was acting extremely fearful and jumpy. He's normally a little tired and goes and takes a nap after the groomers but this was different. Then he wouldn't leave my side for a week he was terrified of everything. When I picked him up it felt like a virtual Sweatshop in there every dog in there was panting and stressed I understand that the certain level of stress in a dog grooming parlor but this was bad. It feels like the quality and calm pleasant energy is gone out of this place. I will not be returning. I contacted the rescue place that I adopted my dog Iooking for Christine. They told me that they no longer use modern Pet Salon because of so many scary stories like mine. Stories of dog's eyes getting burnt to the point of needing veterinarian attention and modern Pet Salon doing nothing about it! I rarely write bad reviews but I'm sorry I didn't even want to go back in there and get my money back I just was done with that place especially after being lied to you three times and God knows what they did to my poor little dog.
