  • I have eaten Nello's many times (my office orders from here quite often and who am I to turn down free food) and I can say they are consistent and I consistently don't like it. The pizza here is what I would call major deep dish which I don't have a problem with but is probably not my first choice. My main issue with Nello's is their sauce is very sweet -- probably the sweetest pizza sauce I have ever tasted. This just ruins it for me, but I should mention I generally don't like any sugar in my marinara (what's wrong with tangy vinegar?). The only pizza that is passable here IMO is the meat lovers with bacon on top (not sure the official name). The salad is ok... and their house dressing is interesting -- definitely different.
