Hi all, I went to vote today, 10/24/16. Yes the line was looped all the way around the polling station, but it only took about 15 minutes to get through the entire line and get to the voting booth. They had it moving pretty fast, so don't get nervous when you come up on the long line. I wanted to give two helpful tips... 1) I got there at 10:40am (Monday) and when I got done at 11am the line was probably about 15 people longer. So I'm assuming that the line gets longer as the morning progresses. And 2) if you can't find your white and green voter registration card then you can bring the sample ballot that was mailed to you and they can scan the barcode off of that. A lot of people had brought the sample ballot also as a way to pre-mark how they were voting. Hope this helps!
I want to mention that the guy who scanned my voter registration card and checked me in, I think his name was Dale or Dave last name was Miller I think. Anyways, he was the nicest guy ever, was thorough in his job but did it fast and efficiently. I'm sure this is why the line moves so quickly. Thanks Mr. Miller!!!
