  • Been wanting to check out The Dandy Brewing Company (Calgary's first nano brewery) for ages. First time I've been to a nano brewery in cowtown. Good first choice! We came on a Sunday afternoon around 3:30pm and it was pretty busy. The tap room is small but there's a communal picnic area, couple seats at the bar and a few tables to sit at. Prices are great! 5 oz ($2.00), 10 oz ($3.50) and 20 oz ($6.50). Like how they have a few bar snacks available if you want some munchies. We got flights and tried all 6 of the available beers (they usually have 8). Our favourites were the "Summertime and the livin' is EZ" pink guava sour, "Prince of the Rodeo" grapefruit gose and "The Dandy" wild sour. Good beats (vinyl!), friendly staff and solid beer list. Definitely worth the drive if you're a craft beer geek.
