  • This is the worst Harris Teeter I've ever seen and regrettably it is the nearest grocery store. It is run down and has a frustratingly limited selection. What does it have: roaches, a weak produce section, a flower section that is so small you woildnt even realize it, worn out floors, poorly managed staff, and a "bakery" section that has at most two loaves of fresh bread. What is it missing: any semblance of a selection of quality foods. I was grilling out and wanted some good sides, decent beer, and maybe some pretzel buns. Nada. Food Lion has a better beer selection. This HT has TWO types of hamburger buns: prepackaged plain and prepackaged sesame seed. Sides are bascially potato salad. This store is in the middle of grocery store hell. Your options are this dumpy HT, a Wal-Mart, and a Food Lion. The Cotswold HT is so overcrowded it is quicker to go to Publix down in Weddington. Tons of options, clean store, and super friendly employees. HT should be embarrassed they put their name on this awful store.
