It's unique to say the least - the area is made entirely from recycled shipping containers. Good space for kids, given that the center of the park is dedicated to a large play area - slightly reminiscent of the Swiss Family Treehouse at Disneyland. There are Downtown Rangers within the play area to monitor children, although parents are allowed in as well. There's also a small stage on one end of the park where you can find free live music on the weekends.
Other than the play area, it's basically a hodgepodge of small shops and eateries. The food is OK although there is one hidden gem on the second level - Simply Pure.
Parking can be tricky, especially if there's an event going on. Nearby streets are all metered parking. There are some free streets, however, along 8th and Bridger and 7th and Ogden. Otherwise, valet at the El Cortez for $2 bucks and call it a day!
