  • My wife and I were in the mood to try something different. We decided to go to Islamorada Fish Company resturaunt located inside Bass Pro Shops. We were here anyway...so why not?? We started with the alligator bites in sweet jalapeño sauce. Amazingly good! Not just for wallets and belts anymore! We also have Bavarian pretzels with beer cheese which was also pretty darn tasty! Then we moved on to the main course of a Cuban sandwich and battered Cajun catfish. My wife wasn't sold on the "cajun" part of the catfish. I thought that the Cuban was average. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the "Top Shelf Long Island Iced Tea" and I thought the 22oz Bud Light and Stella were great. The bartender knew a lot about the fish in the aquarium behind the bar and patiently answered the questions we had about the varieties of specimens swimming in front of us. Always wanted to try this place and I'm glad I did. Now I can shop in peace without that nagging feeling that I'm forgetting something!!
