  • The Angus Glen Public Library deserves a separate review from the pool (see my review of the pool in the Angus Glen Community Centre page). The staff at the public library are mostly very friendly and helpful (much more helpful than most places I've been in at Canada). Other than one lady who sometimes is at the front desk (when she's on duty, I avoid it like the plague, because she likes to get angry at every question and inquiry), the staff is really family-friendly. The library itself is relatively modern and the facilities are usually clean, convenient and easy to use. The wifi strength could use a little upgrade, as some corners don't have signals with my devices (my Thinkpad laptop, my Samsung phone, my wife's MacBook....so it doesn't seem device-dependent to me for the weak signal...). Some reviews say the library is very noisy. Admittedly, some areas can be noisy, including the kids area. But we usually find it tolerable.
