  • This place was a better than average car dealership in my opinion. Honestly buying cars is usually the worst experience ever, but this dealership was one of the better ones. Whatever you do don't buy from Showcase Honda in Phoenix.... worst experience I've ever had! Hyundai of Tempe was ok. Very nice salesman named Dan (not an overly aggressive type), he knew a lot about the car we were looking at (the Santa Fe). Everything was fairly good except the terms we agreed upon totally changed once we sat down with the finance guy (Randy). We basically only got a good rate if we agreed to the extended warranty and GAP coverage, had we denied that he was going to revert us back to the 13% interest rate (as opposed to 5%). So we pretty much had to take the extras to get the better rate, which made me feel completely ripped off and like I didn't have a choice in the matter. I'd buy again, but I'd be better prepared for that scenario. We should have just threatened to walk if they didn't give us the lower rate without the extras, but we didn't. Overall, not the worst dealership I've dealt with, but not the best either.
