  • Va Bene is the only café I know that manages to screw up Illy. Not good. Here's a list of food items I tried (but will never touch again): - A horribly salty and greasy prosciutto & cheese sandwich with pesto on a tasteless bun - Blueberry muffin on steroids - Heavy, faux-éclairs that in no way resemble the delicious, cream-filled choux-pastry delights I love Va Bene is pricier than Dean & Deluca in my building in Manhattan while it consistently disappoints. Definitely not "va bene".
