| - My brother chose Todd's for his birthday dinner, leading to one of the best meals I've had since moving to Las Vegas in 2013. First off, the service was amazing. On arrival, we were seated promptly and presented with menus (drinks and food) and an offer of water, which was quickly delivered. This was a theme that would continue throughout the meal, as our fantastic waitress took great care of us throughout our dining experience.
Some of us opted for cocktails (two mules and a pear martini) which were both great. I had a mule and it was just delicious. One of the best cocktails I've had. For apps, we (party of 5) chose the appetizer sampler, which offered an asian dumpling, some calamari, a goat cheese wonton, a crab cake, and a sweet potato puff. Everything was great, but I particularly enjoyed the goat cheese wonton and crab cake. Dinner included a perfectly prepared salmon special, the seared sea scallops, the NY steak, a fillet of beef, and the boneless short rib. Everyone loved their food, but I particularly want to tell you about my dish, which was the short rib. This was a good sized piece of meat and it just melted in your mouth. So delicious. The jalapeno mash and onion sauce were a perfect compliment to this delicious entrée.
For desert, my parents split a nutella crème brulee, my brother had the chocolate cake, my sister-in-law had the bread pudding (which was big enough for at least two people and delicious), and I went with the amazing bananas foster. My brother also got a special complimentary birthday desert (tiramisu). Everything was thoroughly enjoyed.
Overall, this place is amazing and quite reasonably priced for such high end fare. I cannot recommend Todd's Unique Dining enough, and can see being a regular visitor.
