Asked for Shellac, they tell me they do it there. Halfway through the manicure, they bring out the "Shellac" bottle, which clearly was not Shellac but some cheap no name brand. I pointed out that it was not Shellac, girl just smiles and says "oh he buys it" and gestured to the male manicurist. Took an unusually long period of time, almost double the time it takes me normally to get Shellac. Less then 24 hours later, 3 nails have chipped, after 48 hours, 5 nails were chipped. Normally, my Shellac nails will grow out long before it ever chips, it lasts 3 weeks with not a scratch. Don't say you offer a particular product and then use a cheap replicate. No point in going back to fix as I will just get another round of fake Shellac. Now I know to always just stick to Kathy's Nails and Body care and don't go anywhere just because I happened to be waiting for someone else to get a procedure done. What a waste of time and money.
