rev:text	We recently stayed here while visiting Cleveland for a concert. Since the concert (U2) was at the First Energy stadium we picked the Westin primarily for its location. The staff at the hotel was really friendly and checked in with us at least twice on how we enjoyed the hotel and asked for feedback. The location is great if you are attending a sports event or want to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It's a very easy and quick walk to both of those places. Downtown Cleveland is a little hit or miss in terms of restaurants and bars. The Fourth Street promenade, which is an easy and safe walk from the hotel, boasts several restaurants and bars (Lola, Mabel's, Mexican food, sports bar). The concierge at the hotel said it is experiencing a resurgence and I suspect as time goes on more and more restaurants, shops, and bars will pop up around the hotel. We had a standard king room on the 17th floor with a view of the water. The room was a nice size with a L-shaped sofa and desk. The room includes a mini fridge, safe, an iPod ready speaker clock. The bathroom was a good size with a walk-in shower. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic and there was plenty of water. The room was clean and fresh, but the decor was a little dated. I think this was a different hotel previously and acquired by the Westin which may account for some of dated decor. The hotel has a Starbucks in the lobby which is great although the hours are odd. The SBX closed at 5pm on Saturday and by noon on Sunday. According to the hotel staff, the hours are driven by SBX but I think the hotel would be better off running its own coffee shop/store selling SBX coffee and keeping better hours. The hotel does offer 24 hour room service; we did not eat in the hotel so we can't comment on the food (convenient though!). A tiny gripe was the TV service. It's satellite and twice we had the service go out even when the weather was fine. Fortunately, both times the service was out less than 30 minutes but still an annoyance. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. The price, staff, and accommodations were very nice and comfortable.
