One of the best markets in the valley, taking place every Sat. Huge parking lot across the street that is free. Wide aisles that are stroller and dog friendly. There are even bowls of water on the ground...for dogs not the kiddos. ;-) During cooler months, there is an enormous amount of vendors, which they divide into food and arts/goods. Artwork, crocheted goodies for babies, photographers, essential oils are all really neat to peruse but the food is where it's at!
Some great food trucks, Tamale Store(tex mex and red chile pork!) and NutWhats (unique nut brittle they call scribbles. Free samples. Try bacon pecan!) are must-try. Bring a reusable bag or small cooler in the hot months for your goodies. There is a gal selling organic iced coffee that is amazing, too. Most stands have samples to try and everyone is friendly. It does get quite crowded but the biggest downer is the lacking of actual cheap, fresh produce that I experienced in other states. There are a few stands but there is not a great variety or a very good price. Otherwise, I love this market.
