  • Okay so I'm a regular at the Rx Boiler Room and I eat here as a treat to myself because this is literally my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. I usually never eat at the strip ever but Rx Boiler Room is an exception because of their great food, atmosphere, service, and unique takes on classic dishes. If you're a steampunker like me then this restaurant is the best place in the world you could eat because everything from the decor to the food to the shows on tv are all steampunk oriented. Even the waiters and waitresses are all decked out in steampunk garb. The food while pricey is always cooked to perfection and is also 100% the best quality every single time I eat here. The drinks are to die for though they are quite expensive so I would be prepared before ordering a cocktail. Now I know what you're wondering, why the 4 star rating and not 5? Well i'm going to tell you, so I came here a few nights ago to celebrate an accomplishment I had made in my college class. I wanted a nice cocktail and to just sit down and relax. The bar was totally empty except for 2 people. After sitting down at the bar for a good 10 minutes I was greeted by an extremely rude bartender who seemed more interested in being snarky and rude than she did in taking my order. I had realized that I left my phone in my car so I ran downstairs to go get it really fast and returned to order my drink. I had been no more than 5 minutes when the bartender handed me my menu. She looked at me and said in the rudest snarkiest manner "Are you going to drink now or what? You ready?!?". I was taken aback by the comment and for a second thought she was kidding until she kept repeatedly giving me the stink face. I finally just settled with a Rum and Coke and let it go and chocked it up to it being late and resolved to enjoy my drink. I sat there for a good 7-8 minutes again waiting for her to make my drink but she went back to talking to the other two people who were sitting at the bar like I was invisible. Finally she made my drink halfheartedly and I drank it and left. The drink was fine and it doesn't ruin my experience because this is a great place with amazing people but the bartender was just rude. This was the only bad experience i've ever had at this place and I come here very often. It's a wonderful restaurant and bar but she was a horrible bartender and incredibly rude.
