| - I wish there was a negative score option. This place is a joke and should be avoided at all cost. Been here less than a year under two management companies and both have been awful experiences. $1300 for rent when customer service is horrible, grounds keeping is horrible, ZERO rules that were laid in the lease for the other tenants are enforced and the list goes on.
I will start with my latest issue today that I need to resolve with this wonderful hell hole. When Greystar took over from Alliance the online bill pay stopped. Having to go to bank to get a cashier's check was a pain. On top of that the bill was never mailed on time forcing me to go down to the office with all the other residents every month to be treated by the bright smiling faces in the office (sarcasm). Now four months later Greystar decided it may be a good idea to have online bill pay. Great!.... Not!! I paid this months rent online just to have someone 7 days later POUNDING on my door and shoving a paper in my 70 year old grandmothers face with an attitude saying the rent was not paid, charging almost $200 in late fees due to insufficient funds and needs to be paid by end of day. I inconveniently leave work early to have this matter resolved to get to the office only to learn the billing person left early for the day and I need to speak to the bank. Fantastic. Went to bank to get my statement proving that there was more than enough funds in the account on the day rent was paid, came back to the office to ask the hours the billing person works and learned she is there from 9-5. More good news! Now I have to take MORE time off of work to resolve this ANNOYING issue. I now attempt to get on the resident portal where I originally paid my rent to get the message that my login info is invalid. I attempt to reset the password and NO ACCOUNT exists with my email. Also, the banker pointed out that they sent me an email that was NOT encrypted with my complete bank account number in full display. Thanks Greystar! If I am given a hard time about THEIR mistake and a ding on my credit report I will take every necessary legal action I can against this place.
A list of other complaints...
Garbage is almost always full and over flowing.
Children run wild, unsupervised and ride bikes/scooters in the parking lot creating a hazard. Parents are extremely hostile.
Dog feces everywhere, dogs off leashes and dogs listed on restricted breed list live here (that in my lease says are not permitted). Owners are hostile. Spoke to grounds cleaning and they suggested I speak to the people that do not pick their dogs mess. Seriously, do your job other than sending out those useless flyers.
Gravel is constantly littered over the sidewalk.
Office staff is rude and very unfriendly.
Emergency maintenance is an answering machine.
None of the gates work.
Weed is a common smell.
The pool and spa are filthy. My friend, against my advice, used the spa and the next day developed a nasty yeast infection. Gross!
No security. There was a single security guard here for two or three days only because there was a string of break ins.
The first month I was here there were three fights in the parking lot and a group of men sold drugs out by the water fountain. The roundabout made it a perfect drive-thru drug shop.
They rent to anyone because they only care about money so this "luxury" apartment complex is the equivalent to living in section 8 housing or the projects.
Alliance when I first came to see an apartment did a bait and switch on me ( being a first time renter was my mistake) showed me a nice renovated apartment. Only to be given an apartment with a dirty carpet, burned counter top and several other things wrong. That most were never fixed.
It took me almost a month to get the garage I requested leaving me without an assigned spot. It took five different garage keys to work then when I finally opened the garage my side was completely filled with the last tenants stuff. It took two weeks of daily reaching out to the staff to get it emptied out.
Roaches in my apartment.
I will probably develop lung cancer from all the second hand smoke.
The ATF knocked on my door interrogating me about the previous tenants.
Cops on property are a fairly common sight.
I'm sure there is more but you get the idea. I will be so happy when my lease is over!!!!
