I ordered PODS to move in Aug. 2016. Fast forward to End if Sept. 2017: I receive an email stating I owe a balance of 117.24. This is the first I've heard of a balance. I am 100% that I don't have a balance because they had my credit card and they wouldn't pick up unless everything was paid. After 4 hours of bank records and phone calls, it ended up that they owe me 2.44. Normally, I'd say it's a wash but my 4 hours of aggravation are worth them cutting me a check for 2.44. Should I ask for a 25.00 late fee they were trying to impose on me? They zero' out my account balance and didn't even say sorry our mistake. I will get my 2.44 for the principal!
Also, the business has poor ethics. I rented one pod on 8/15 and one on 8/26. I had to pay the full months of August on both. If you were a day into the new month upon return, you'd owe that month too. They are making millions on the monthly rentals by imposing " monthly rental" yet 3 customers potentially could be paying for the same month. Possible class action suite? I will NEVER use this company again and I will let as many people as possible know my experience.
