Hidden in plain sight and the windows have been bricked up - however, the inside is typical Japanese steak house with sushi bar and koi pond.
I think what turned me off was how incredibly dark and cold it was. It appeared as if it were closed - but there were other diners inside, so must've just been their take on 'mood lighting'. It was so cold I had to wear my coat for the entire meal.
The sushi was 'meh' - not too bad but not that great either. Hindsight would tell me not to order sushi in a place like this, but live and learn. Reluctantly, I ordered the shrimp tempura which was more vegetables than shrimp. Again, just 'meh'.
My husband ordered the Korean BBQ beef and I must admit it was rather tasty; however chewy. The $55 price tag on the meal will keep me from going back. It really wasn't worth it.
