| - Let's just start off by saying that I am soo spoiled to live in a location that is minutes away from Sunrise Coffee, Mothership, Pour, Grouchy John's, and now, Coffee Hunter! Definitely a major contender offering lots of local goodies, Nitro Brew, Nitro Float (nitro with ice cream) and so far, 5 very different specialty coffee flavors: Desert Rose, Pillow Mint, Almond Alegria, Honeycomb, and Dirty Breve featuring Stumptown coffee from Portland! They also have 11 other flavorings where you can make your own, including Lavender, Rose, Macadamia Nut, and Irish Creme just to mention a few. Another thing that I love is that they use only organic milk and have my favorite, Califa Almond Milk! They also offer Metolius Artisan Teas including Assam, Jasmine, Earl Grey, Chai, and Non-caffeinated North, and Little Bear.
As for nums, they have Bangers & Mash, a vegetarian Pot Pie, Jerky, Madelines and a bunch of other goodies. We were able to taste the locally made, gluten free Madelines and they were so soft, fluffy and lemony, yum!
As for our first visit of drinks, we went with their Nitro Brew $6, Almond Algeria $6, and Honeycomb $5 all in their 16 oz medium size. The nitro had a light, creamy flavor, and not as bitter and strong as Mothership's. Very palatable for first time Nitro drinkers, delish! As for specialties, my boyfran went with the Almond Alegria, a Almond Milk Latte with roasted hazelnut syrup, and I went with the Honeycomb! That one was a French Vanilla and Honey Latte with Cinnamon steamed milk! Oh my goodness. These were soo creamy and you could taste all of the flavors described even though we got them iced! Can't wait to taste them hot! We'll definitely be back, can't wait to try their Dirty Breve, a double shot espresso drink with coconut and dark chocolate flavoring and maybe the veggie pot pie! Yum! Happy Yelping! :)
