Dr. Sietter and Dr. Saba are uneducated about autism. I was worried about my boy since he was about a year old due to lack of speech. They both ignored my concerns and Dr. Sietter even said he couldn't have autism because autistics wouldn't even know if you were dead in a corner. He said my son couldn't be autistic bc he's so engaging (as my son was mindlessly opening and closing a drawer) and that he's so cute. I'm sorry but autism is a SPECTRUM disorder. I took my son to the Melmed center for a second opinion and he was diagnosed right away, which led my son to speech and occupational therapy services and now, thank GOD, my son speaks!!! These doctors are stuck in the 50s mind-set.
