We had Dry Pro encapsulate our crawlspace in 2009 to prevent moisture and mold, and couldn't be happier with the result. They installed two french drains in the floor and thoroughly cleaned and dried the space, then covered the walls and floor with a moisture barrier. Finally, they installed a dehumidifier to keep the humidity content steady, and placed a sensor in the crawlspace so we could monitor the humidity via a weather station in our house.
We get compliments all the time from service people on how nice it is to work in our crawlspace! But the greatest--and most unexpected--benefit is how well the encapsulation has helped to maintain comfortable temperatures in our house. And our heating and A/C bills were lowered as well!
Dry Pro continues to provide annual checks on our dehumidifier, and they recently installed a PVC entry door that looks better and will withstand the elements much better than our wood door. Their service personnel are always polite and conscientious, and I've never been anything but pleased with their staff.
It's not cheap to encapsulate a crawlspace, but it adds value to your home by protecting you against mold growth, and helping you to maintain comfortable temperatures in your home. We are so glad we did this with Dry Pro, and highly recommend them for this service!
