When you pay $180 for a 50 minute massage, you want it to be an awesome experience. Mind you, you can use all of the spa facilities and classes on the day you book and pay for a service, and the people are very friendly and customer-service oriented, but... the hot tub was REALLY overdue for a cleaning and really grossed me out.
I had a decent enough masseuse and enjoyed the amenities but it didn't feel like a $180 value; I've spent less and gotten more at other spas. Not to mention the tip is automatically added for you at 20% minimum before your service begins, and if you have a gift card that leaves you with $20, you have to use it on your next service, nothing else. It would have been nice of them to explain parking as well- I was almost late because I had to wait 20 minutes for a spot that took me 10 minutes to walk to the spa. That's not terrible, but would have been nice to know ahead of time.
If you hadn't set the bar so high with your website and prices, I wouldn't be leaving a 4-star review. I may be back but I'm thinking I'll get more for my money elsewhere. I'm still very glad my husband picked this place to get me a gift certificate for my birthday, and I'm glad I decided to use it for a massage; I just have high expectations for that kind of price tag since I have to be convinced to spend that kind of money on myself to begin with!
