The pictures may not say much but I will..... this place deserved the five star review.
So, upon entering, Arun's doesn't look like much, a little untidy, no seats and a crowd around the counter style of lining up.
The food is behind the glass arranged in a buffet style.
I had been here once before and got the egg roll ($2) and really liked it so I looked to see if they had any but they were out. (I came in at 8pm and I think it's more of a breakfast item). I asked the person behind the counter if he had any and his response blew my mind - he said they were out but if I really wanted one he would be happy to have one made for me. I said I would take 2 and he asked the cooks to make them.
He asked if I wouldn't mind waiting for five minutes and apologized for the delay. He asked if I wanted anything else and I proceeded to get a small mutton curry with paratha, Rava kesari (a semolina sweet) and some beverages. He handed me this deep fried sweet ball and said, 'taste this and see if you like it' because he seemed to be able to tell that I was navigating my way no knowing what things were.
This place gets a five star for service.
We took the food to go and it was just so good. The mutton was tender and the egg rolls were so delicious. A lot of food without breaking the back at all.
I'm definitely going back here.
Prices: mutton curry with roti $6,75
Rava kesari $1 for 2 pieces
Egg rolls $2 each
