It's a great workout, even the most mundane and simple exercise are 10x harder on a surfboard. If it's your first time, I recommend you taking their "beginner blend" class, which is good for beginner to get a feel of doing exercises on a surf board. your body has to try to balance and do strengthening exercise at the same time. it's tough. Once you are familiar with how this works, you can take their other offerings like balance, yoga, and burn class. burn is more jumping and burning calories. The only downside is that there is no shower, one bathroom only. But they do have products such as dry-shampoo and hair styling products in the change room. change room is co-ed.
also some surfboards are pretty worn down, the rubber are peeling. My recommendation to the business is replace some of the worn down boards. it's hard to do planks on them when the flap keeps coming up and trips the person.
Overall, a great and fun way to workout. so good for your core!! I recommend. The reception desk person was also very helpful!
