I was rudely handled - My Greyhound driver was late and I missed my connection in Lafayette. I was assisted by a nice lady who rushed me via uber to downtown Baton Rouge and told me they would hold the bus - upon my arrival. I even called during my uber ride and was told by Ray that the bus was delayed and that I am perfectly fine. Upon arrival I was told the bus left and that nobody ever contacted them. Furthermore that the bus leaves directly from Baton Rouge therefore it could never have been "late". - I was yelled at belittled and left in a bad part of Baton Rouge, a place I have never been before. I was in tears and requested a refund. They gave me a refund after each one of them took turns and talked down to me and belittled my judgements and arrival time with the uber driver. The story continued to fluctuate. I explained to them that I was nervous for my safety as I am a Missionary from CT. I was told that they do not care where I am from nor what I do and went in the back and talked privately about me before begrudgingly issuing a refund. There were three or four people involved I have all of my phone records and the Uber driver as my witness. In addition to the representative from Lafayette as she repeated over and over how she personally spoke to a meager there. As a result I spent $200 dollars to get home and checked into a $55 hotel at The Alamo that was utterly disgusting and unsafe, however it was located down the street from Greyhound in an attempt to take the morning train. The room was so disgusting I walked out and the cost was non refundable. I want to be compensated for the entire cost of my trip that I was forced to pay out of pocket $255
