| - My experience has been hit or miss with Hertz, unfortunately for me lately it's been a miss. Look out for charges for options you didn't actually get. For example, XM radio charges when the car you get doesn't actually have the subscription. Happens too often, usually the attendant will tell you to call roadside assistance to turn it on, but that option has not helped. Now i have to go inside, get in line and explain that the subscription is expired, go out to the car to prove it, look around the surroundings to be sure the canopy isn't blocking the signal, walk back to the counter, print a new receipt and finally be on my way. Horrible! There has to be a better way. Hey Hertz, why not have someone walk through the lot and make sure the XM works on cars and update it in the inventory system, put it on a schedule when cars are brought in.
